FOTD: Smoke and Mirrors

Hi guys! :D This was a smokey eye I did a while back. The sweater is Ralph Lauren from that rummage sale that I still haven't gotten to posting about (also left a lot of the finds at college because Cali sunshine waits for no sweaters xD) ... and I swiped it for a mere $4! The kids at my university are too rich for their own good x_x 

So my hair varies wildly everyday. Before school let out I was using Herbal Essences Shampoo in Tousle Me Softly just to use up the huge bottle and it made my hair very wavy and hard to brush so I gave up trying to brush it. So basically none of my photos involve styled hair. It's just the way it was that day xD I like this slightly shaped with bangs look. I still can't get used to not having bangs so I always brush them back into place :D

I'm bummed out about the broken lights in the bathroom in my apartment. Dad said, "Oooh, bad lighting for makeup" when I told him about it hahaha. Oh he knows me so well. I'm also on the hunt for a camera still. Maybe my parents will spoil me and we can avoid crappy macro shots altogether (I'm talking to you, Kodak Easyshare). It likes to turn things purple and put weird lines in bright sunlight, which is like every outdoor shot here T__T Boo.

What good did I do today?

Woke up around noon, ate lotssss of food, played Uncharted 2: Heroes Among Thieves (24% completion => 56% baby!), went to Borders and Barnes & Noble for an MCAT book (got ExamKrackers 101 Verbal Reasoning Passages since I already have all their basic ebooks ... realized I could have gotten it online as well but it's nice to have a paper copy), had a nice long chat with Dad about life and Chinese calligraphy.

Any suggestions on doing smokey eye? I can't seem to do the outer V right and make my eyes seem even further apart *makes grasshopper face* I have no crease but double eyelids .. problematic :P My roomie does great makeup for the Asian monolid. I like it when she blinks because the dark purple flutters with a pop of lighter purple, it's really cool.
