My Own Petroglyph: Van Gogh (Glazed and Fired)
I was SOOO freaking excited when Meowmeow's parents sent us a love package with food, so much delicious food, and our pieces we painted in Los Gatos at the end of Winter Break : )
[see the post here]
I am uber proud of this piece because I ventured out and tried new techniques and put my heart into working on it. Art is a passion I don't quite get to enjoy very often, but when there's an opportunity, it makes me very happy and proud. I don't mean to sound braggy, I'm just an easily amused little kid x)
As you can tell, the colours get a lot darker after meeting fire. I'm really happy the detailing worked out with the etching ^__^
Inside:
Methinks the mosaic ring matches pretty well, eh? Got it from Claire's [click to enlarge image]
Bottom:
This is what it looked like before all the glaze and kiln business:
My boyfriend is so much more talented than I am. Here's his espresso cup and saucer (so kawaii!)
Now ... what shall I put in it? Jewelry? Candy? Help me decide! It's 2-2.5 inches deep, so it can fit a lot : )

Hi Angie-
I live in Sacramento now (for school) but I'm looking into relocating next Fall :)
Fill it with Origami Starts (first thing that came into my mind) :P I wish I was crafty. :(
