ELF Studio Haul: Part II
More of my 75% off ELF Studio Haul (:
4) Studio Eyebrow Kit in Dark (3/5)
- It claims to: "Create brows that are fuller, thicker, and more defined; Shapes and sets your eyebrows; Gives lasting color definition for a naturally beautiful look"
- Directions: Use the pigmented brow gel to define and shape the brows with the angled brush for precise lines. Set the color in with the brow powder and fill in with the blending brush for a natural finished look.
- Did it? I feel like this kit doesn't give you as much control as Anastacia Brow Wiz. Keeping in mind the price - 15% of the Brow Wiz - it's not bad if you want to darken your brows A LOT. This is super dramatic! For a person like me who has really fine, light black brows, it's a little too much. The little brush does give you shaping and the brow powder does set, but beware of looking too overdone. I'll need a little more practice with this and a bigger mirror than the one they provide.
- Impression: This thing is tiny! It's probably only 2 inches across. The gel and powder with last me absolutely forever, because a little will go a long way if not too far.
Gel on the left, powder on the right. Top angled brush for shaping, bottom rounded brush for setting.
5) Studio Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder (5/5)
- It claims to: "Create a healthy and natural glow year-round; the blush highlights the cheeks to add a flush of color; the bronzer accents and contours cheekbones for beautiful definition.
- Directions: Brush on the "bronze" to the hollow of the cheeks for definition and dust around the face line to create a healthy glow. Use the "blush" on the apple of the cheeks to create subtle color.
- Did it? Yes! I thought the bronzer would be way too heavy but it's a lot better than ELF Warm Tan Bronzing Face Powder or whatever they call it, which is way too red. It's subtle, creates nice raised cheekbones, and the blush is oh so rosy and darling. Yay! The powders sparkle beautifully (which unfortunately doesn't show in pictures) but it doesn't glitter up the face.
Impression: Very, very happy.
I have more but those will be to play with later. Go buy ELF Studio products - they're definitely worth it!
